MACHINE DESIGN BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Bed plate and tables
The bed plate is the principal bearing element that determines the relative position of the machine units. The bed frame is made of special fine-grained cast iron and is twice aged. The bed plate design is highly rigid and vibration-resistant.The bed plate top has V-shaped and flat cast iron guides with a system of channels for supplying and collecting lubricant. The design of the bed partitions provides for removal and collection of waste oil from the guides lubrication system in the bed crankcase.
The lower table, on which the upper rotary table is mounted, moves along the longitudinal flat and V-shaped guides of the bed plate. The tables move along the bed plate guides by means of a ball screw and a servo drive.
A movable protection cover is installed on the table to protect a worker from emulsion splashes.
Grinding wheelhead
The grinding wheelhead is mounted on the slide bars, which it rotates on, and also has the ability to additionally move manually along the dovetail type guides using a screw located behind the headstock. The principal elements of the grinding wheelhead is the spindle, which is mounted in the housing on self-aligning hydrodynamic plain bearings.Slide bars
The slide bars consist of two body parts: lower (rotary) and upper (movable). The upper slide bars, which the grinding wheelhead with a wheel drive is mounted on, move along the lower ones along the V-shaped and flat guides. A vertical shaft transmitting the movement to the lead screw is mounted in the lower slide bars along the axis of rotation.Headstock
The headstock consists of a plate and a body, which can be rotated relative to the plate. The headstock is driven by an electric motor mounted on a rotary housing via a belt drive. In the body, a spindle on three self-aligning liner hydrodynamic plain bearings, rotated from the sheave through the faceplate, screws and a special drive piece relieving of radial forces, is installed.Deadhead
The deadhead body is mounted on the upper table of the machine. A steel sleeve is pressed into the body, in which a hardened steel spindle moves. The spindle is spring-loaded, which allows one to create the necessary force when fixing the product in the centers. The spindle is moved manually.Hole grinding device (ID grinding appliance)
The appliance for internal grinding consists of a cast iron body fixed to a mounting bracket of the grinding wheelhead. The device is lowered manually into the working position. The table-top folding-back dressing device is designed for diamond dressing of the grinding wheel on the face. The diamond feed is carried out by the handwheel of the feed mechanism. Longitudinal feed (table speed while dressing) is selected depending on the required roughness of the polished items.At the customer's request, the machine can be equipped with an angle and radius dressing device.
Cooling system
The device for supplying and cleaning coolant consists of a free-standing unit which a pump, a magnetic separator, a filter-conveyor (for machine of A and C accuracy classes) and supply lines are mounted on. The magnetic separator and the filter-conveyor are designed to clean the coolant.Electrical equipment characteristics
To control the operation of the machine, a DVP-SV2 “DeltaElectronics” series controller, connected to the operator's touch pad, a frequency converter and two servo drives via the CAN-Open network, is used.Information on electrical equipment power supply system
Power supply to the machine from the workshop network - 5-core cable according to the 3P-1N-1PE scheme. The connection point in the machine is the entry into the electrical cabinet from below. The connection point in the machine is the entry to the electrical cabinet from the bottom.The grounding of the machine is done by connecting it to the workshop grounding system. The machine has designated ground nodes for connecting grounding conductors to them.
